Mdm. Faridah Binti Shahidin, the founder of FBS Consult Services, is a premier expert in conformity assessment and management systems with over 35 years of experience. Holding a B.Sc. (Hons) in Microbiology from the University of Guelph and a Certificate in Shariah from IIUM, she uniquely bridges the gap between technical science and Islamic standards.

Her distinguished career includes 15 years at SIRIM QAS International, where she served as Head of Certification for the Chemical and Material Section. Today, she is a Lead Assessor for the Department of Standards Malaysia and an international Peer Evaluator for the Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC).

Mdm. Faridah is a recognized authority in ISO 13485 (Medical Devices), ISO 22000 (Food Safety), and ISO 9001. She is a registered auditor for the Ministry of Health and the Medical Device Authority (MDA). Beyond auditing, she actively shapes the industry as a Technical Committee member and a sought-after trainer for government agencies. Through FBS Consult Services, she provides expert consultancy, helping industries navigate complex regulatory landscapes with precision and integrity.
